As the series of mural continued Ela Motors unveiled the second vibrant mural in Goroka Ela
Motors Dealership. The artwork, was designed and led by Japanese artist Miyazaki Kensuke,
harmonizing contemporary artistry with Papua New Guinean cultural heritage.

The unveiling ceremony was graced by His Excellency, Mr. Hisanobu Mochizuki, Ambassador of
Japan to Papua New Guinea and Honorable Mr. Simon Sia, Governor of Eastern Highlands
Province.

His Excellency, Ambassador Mr. Mochizuki commended the initiative, describing the mural as “a
heartfelt tribute to Papua New Guinea” and a symbol of the enduring friendship between Japan and
PNG.

Ela Motors PNG, Chief Executive Officer Mr. Masaru Mikami expressed hope that the mural will
serve as a point of reflection, linking Goroka’s rich heritage with the aspirations of its future and
reaffirmed the company’s commitment to delivering innovative mobility solutions that foster
connectivity and shared experiences.

Since establishing operations in Goroka in 2022, Ela Motors has actively supported community
development through initiatives such as waste management, infrastructure improvement, and
sponsorship of the iconic Goroka Show.

The mural project, undertaken in collaboration with 30 students from Goroka International School,
portrays the power of collective creativity and community engagement.

choices are not,’” remarked Mr. Mikami. “This project reflects that philosophy. Through initiatives
like these, we aim to inspire and uplift, creating moments of gratitude and happiness — and to
