The Mandatory Employee Health Check initiative ran from March 19th to May 17th, 2024. The program, which was approved by the management, underlines its dedication to ensuring all employees’ optimal health and well-being.

It encompasses a comprehensive medical examination, including blood pressure, body mass index (BMI), blood sugar levels, lipid profile, X-rays, electrocardiogram (ECG), kidney function tests, Hepatitis B and voluntary HIV testing, all aimed at safeguarding employees’ health and productivity.

Through this program, the health team has identified various health issues, categorized as critical, non-critical, and healthy & fit.

The management commended POM-based employees for participating in the medical check, with Head Office at 95.1%, Badili at 94.6%, and Waigani at 98%.

Medical feedback reports from examining doctors are currently in progress.

The Lae staff medical check documentation is pending the legal officer’s review before the program begins, followed by Kokopo, Goroka, and Mt Hagen dealerships.
