PORT MORESBY NATURE PARK

July 6, 2021

Port Moresby Nature Park is a non-government organisation which has been operating for over 40 years as PNG’s leading tourist attraction, focused on the preservation and conservation of our unique wildlife. Funds generated from the park are utilised to fund the animal exhibits, their welfare and the general maintenance and operation of the Park.
In view of keeping the Park activities operational, Ela Motors through its Corporate Social Responsibility program, donated a brand new 26-seater coaster bus to the Park on Friday 16th April 2021.
Ela Motors believes that children’s education is of paramount importance and hopes that the donation will be of great assistance to the Park.

Marketing Manager Benjamin Niligur, said “the company, through the donation, will facilitate learning opportunities for school aged children to experience and appreciate nature with the aim of applying the learning outcomes at school enabling the promotion and awareness of Environment and Conservation.”

The Park’s Education team gave assurance that the bus will be used to transport children safely within NCD and the Central province for excursion programs.

The Park’s General Manager David Thompson, expressed appreciation on behalf of CEO Michelle McGeorge for the continued support from Ela Motors.

“We appreciate the timely donation as students have now resumed Term 2 of their education calendar, so does our Education team here at the Park. The new bus ensures a great start to Term 2 Education programs for our team”.
