Ela Motors has recently announced the national winners of the 18th Toyota Dream Car Art Competition, which is open to children aged 15 and younger.
The competition ran from October 1st to November 30th, 2024, and received 187 entries, all judged by a panel of professional art instructor and educators. Winners were chosen based on the uniqueness, message, and artistic quality of their artwork. The awards ceremony took place on March 29th, 2025, in Port Moresby at the Badili showroom.
Ela Motors’ CEO, Masaru Mikami, was present at the ceremony as the guest of honor and was pleased to award the winners with stationery shopping vouchers along with certificates of participation. Masaru San emphasized the importance of dreaming, stating that the foundation of our dreams comes from the support of our families, friends, and the communities that help us envision those dreams. With this sense of gratitude, I hope we can approach the Toyota Dream Car Contest and truly express what our dreams mean to us.
Ben Johnson, the L&D Manager and internal judge, expressed his appreciation for the children’s participation. He stated, “We received many incredible drawings from talented artists nationwide in each category.”
